Notice regarding Foreign-language (English) Examinations in 2024 Entrance Examinations (How to submit TOEFL score)
Students should plan ahead to allow ample time for taking a TOEFL test before applying for the entrance examination. After checking the score by yourself, please enter the Appointment Number of your TOEFL score to be submitted at the time of application. Admission to Programs at TMI
International Technology Management Program
This is our flagship two year Master course for students, with high TOEFL and GRE scores, wishing to study technology management in English at the University of Tokyo. Further information and details of the courses and modules can be found here.

Japanese Technology Management Masters Program
This program is for fluent or native level Japanese speakers.
Applications for entry should be made towards the end of August or beginning of September. Classes will begin in the following April.

Graduate Research Program
For those who want to prepare for the entrance examination to the University of Tokyo, there is a graduate research program at theSchool of Engineering for 6 months-1 year.
It is highly recommended that applicants contact the professor and the laboratory they intend to work with to obtain his/her acceptance prior to applying. You should be aware though that acceptance by the expected supervisor does not guarantee the final acceptance.
